Microsoft 365 Copilot is an AI-powered productivity assistant integrated into Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). It leverages organizational data and context to assist users in drafting content, analysing information, managing communications, and accelerating workflows directly within their daily tools. 

Purpose

  • Enhance individual and team productivity across Microsoft 365 applications
  • Automate repetitive tasks such as drafting, summarisation, and data analysis
  • Provide contextual insights using organisational data (emails, documents, meetings)
  • Enable more efficient collaboration, communication, and decision-making

M365 Copilot is designed to help staff “do better work differently” by embedding AI directly into everyday workflows.

  • All WHO staff with M365 Copilot licenses

  • Licenses must be purchased through the Global Service Desk  (check Microsoft 365 Copilot in request form). A PATEO must be provided (15 USD / month)
